Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to work based in Manchester, within the Adults South Neighbourhood Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker role is £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Main Duties:
Work in a team to undertake strength-based assessments and deliver appropriate person centred support and outcomes for adults with care and support needs.
Work in ways that promotes independence, recognise the potential for change and through excellent practice enables people to maximise their strengths.
Work proactively with a range of adults applying a clear understanding of the legislative framework for Adult Social Care.
Provide an effective response to safeguarding enquiries in line with both the Care Act and local policy and procedures.
Flexible working arrangements, opportunities to develop skills through a structured development programme, and regular support through professional supervision is provided.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
Degree or equivalent in social work.
Current Social Work England registration.
Recent post-qualifying experience within frontline social work.
Have completed or willing to undertake the ASYE Programme.
