Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in an Adults Initial Contact Team based in Sutton. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Adult Services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £28 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
About the role:
- You will have had previous experience of working with residential/nursing and
- domiciliary providers
- Ability to work under pressure you will be confident in working in pressurised difficult situations where there may be issues of conflict
- The ability to efficiently and within a proportionate amount of time seek to establish facts; ascertain the adult's views and wishes; assess the needs of the adult for protection
- Have the ability to consider with the vulnerable person what support and redress is
- Now required and how this might be met; thereby encouraging the vulnerable person
- To consider how to protect them from abuse and neglect
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adult Services
