Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in South Gloucestershire, within the Generic Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £31.63 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract. Part-time and full-time applicants welcome.
To carry out duties and responsibilities:
- Community Care & Housing Act 1970
- NHS & Community Care & Housing Act 1990
- Carers (Recognition and Services) Act 1995
- Carers and Disabled Children's Act 2000
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
- Must have an awareness of legislation relevant to working with vulnerable adults i.e. legislation in respect of Housing, Mental Health, Disability and Racial Discrimination, Human Rights, Asylum Seekers etc.
- Must be a car driver
