Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company to the private and public sector has a locum vacancy for a Social Worker to work full time based in Solihull, within the Adults’ Duty Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker is £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 1-month contract.
Main Duties:
- Qualified Social Workers required for Duty Team to cover long term sickness. This is a busy team which deal with screening new requests for assessments, safeguarding and emergencies.
- The successful candidate will be working remotely but will be expected to work 1 day a week in our office in Chelmsley Wood once the current surge in Covid is resolved. They will also be expected to undertake home visits wearing PPE.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant frontline experience in Adults’ Services
- Candidates must be fully vaccinated against Covid 19.
- LAS experience would be a huge advantage and the successful candidate must enjoy working in a fast paced environment with good assessment and decision making skills.
