Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to work based in Trafford, within the Adults Community Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker role is £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
The Successful candidate will receive an induction and will be part of a friendly and supportive team of social workers, social care assessors, a community link officer and business support officers. Supervision will be provided on a monthly basis. The team is currently 'hybrid working' and therefore there will be a combination of home working and office attendance.
Main Duties:
Complete strengths based and person-centred needs assessments, support planning and direct payments.
Undertake S42 safeguarding enquiries.
Undertake Mental capacity act assessments and applying best interests framework.
Be confident in duty role, and in screening referrals against Care Act 2014 criteria.
Manage a caseload in an organised way.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
Degree or equivalent in social work.
Current Social Work England registration.
Recent post-qualifying experience within frontline adult social work.
Familiar with Liquid Logic
