Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Southend in an Adults Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The salary for this Permanent Social Worker role is £32,000 to £38,000 per annum. This is a full time fixed-term position until Sept 2021 for a qualified Social Worker working within the remit of Criminal Exploitation.
Duties:
- The worker will be working alongside The Children's Service with children and young adults from ages 17 ½ -25 years old considered vulnerable and at risk of Criminal Exploitation as they move from a transitionary phase from children's service to becoming adults and trying to reduce risks of vulnerability during this time.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
- Experience of working with Adults to fulfil Safeguarding and other preventative support whilst providing a person centred approach to those people at risk of/or who are being cuckooed, whilst also working to support those who are victims of Modern Slavery.
