Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to work based in Southend-on-Sea, within the Adult Intermediate Care Team.
The salary for this permanent Social Worker role is £38,000 per annum.
Shift Pattern:
Monday – Friday.
37 hours per week.
Main Duties:
Work within a busy social work team in the community supporting post-hospital discharge.
Support adults in a strength-based approach once they have been discharged from hospital and support with longer term planning.
Currently home-based with the view to progress to hybrid office working in addition to undertaking visits in the community as required.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
Degree or equivalent in social work.
Current Social Work England registration.
Recent post-qualifying experience within frontline social work, including safeguarding experience.
Be proficient with using various computer systems and programmes.
Experience of undertaking Mental Capacity Act assessments.
