Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to work based in Maidenhead, within the Adult Hospital Team.

The salary for this permanent Social Worker role is £28,902 - £38,247.48 per annum.

Main Duties:

  • Ensure appropriate safeguarding processes are in place for those most vulnerable adults.
  • Manage a caseload under supervision.
  • Represent and be able to make decisions with management guidance on behalf of Optalis, including work in multi-agency settings.
  • Be responsible for own professional development and to complete CPD logs on regular basis. Be committed to personal development and attend training as requested including any mandatory training for this post.
  • Manage a caseload including complex assessments and casework.
  • Be responsible for following and maintaining all policies and procedures as designated by Optalis.
  • Make decisions one day-to-day operational issues within the remit of the post and in line with the eligibility criteria to ensure the safety of vulnerable people.

Requirements of the Social Worker:

  • Degree or equivalent in Social Work.
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Current registration with HCPC.
  • Recent post qualifying experience within a frontline health or social care environment.
  • Knowledge of all relevant legislation.
  • Understanding of Safeguarding protocols and the protection of vulnerable adults.
  • IT skills – competent in use of Microsoft Outlook and Word.
  • Full driving licence and daily access to personal vehicle.
