Sanctuary Personnel, an award-winning and renowned Recruitment Agency is looking for experienced and dedicated Social Workers to work full-time based in Stockport, within the Adult Autism Team.
The pay rates for these locum Social Worker jobs are £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and are initial 3-month contracts.
Duties:
- Work in partnership with a wide range of internal and external agencies, including Education, Health, Housing, Police, Probation, Mental Health Services, Drug and Alcohol Services and a wide range of service providers
- Carry out assessments, arrange person-centred support and review packages of care in line with relevant legislation, the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005 in particular, and the national and local policies which direct and inform Autism services
- Assessment and care management
- Safeguarding and risk management, with a focus on positive risk taking
- Forensic hospital and criminal justice work
- Court of Protection work
- Supporting people to enjoy healthier relationships
- Helping people to secure improved finances, employment and housing
- Community social work and relationship-based practice
Requirements of the Social Workers:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults’ Services
- Enthusiasm and a willingness to act as part of a team to continue to develop skills and services for this cohort
