Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Bolton, within the Adoption Team.
The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £26.88 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month ongoing contract.
The post is 37 hours per week normally 8.45 am to 5.00 pm but subject to service requirements based at Castle Hill.
Duties:
- To manage the provision of a statutory adoption service
- To manage and supervise a team of social workers, ensuring that statutory requirements and departmental policies are complied with
- To provide an effective adoption service to children, families, and communities covered by Bolton and Adoption Now
- To support and assist with the overall development of an efficient adoption service
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- Adoption experience is required
