Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Medway, within the Adolescent Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £32 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
These children will be vulnerable to exploitation (CSE & CCE), gang association, experiencing youth violence, domestic abuse, homelessness (JHA) as well as children on the edge of care. The Adolescent Team will be working alongside partner agencies including Early Help, Youth Services, Youth Offending Service, Health, Education and Police.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
- Experience and a passion for working intensively with 11-17-year olds.
- Full driving licence required
