Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to work based in Kensington & Chelsea.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker role is £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Main Duties:
Work with housing colleagues in a collaborative venture to support tenants and service users with hoarding issues.
Receive professional supervision from one of the managers in the community team, however, will work closely with a team of housing officers and support workers to ensure the safety of tenants and services users that need support, in RBKC housing.
There is a degree of autonomy and report to the Financial Inclusion and Support Manger within housing who will integrate the worker into the team; to advise and assist with identifying tenants that hoard, safeguarding issues and those that need care act assessments to support them to successfully maintain their tenancies and live independently in the community.
Identify fire risks, housing risks and safeguarding risks that are a result of tenants that hoard.
Work with housing colleagues closely to achieve positive outcomes for service users.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
Degree or equivalent in social work.
Current Social Work England registration.
2-3 years post-qualifying experience within frontline social work.
Experience of working with people struggling to maintain their tenancy through hoarding, completing care act assessment under the Care Act (2014), and completing mental capacity assessment in line with the Mental Capacity Act (2005).
