Sanctuary Social Care has a permanent vacancy for an experienced and dedicated Social Work Team Manager to work within a Leaving Care Team based in Croydon. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.
The salary for this permanent Team Manager job is £50,448 - £52,482 per annum.
Summary:
You will help lead our leaving care service on the next stage of improving outcomes for young people. The Leaving Care Service currently comprises 4 teams supporting nearly 800 young people aged 18 to 25. To strengthen the management support to young people and staff we are restructuring to become 6 teams and have a new opportunity for a Team Manager to join our expanding service.
Requirements of the Team Manager:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work
- Current HCPC registration
- Management experience within social care
- Experience in managing statutory services for children or care leavers, you will bring energy and enthusiasm.
- Must be able to demonstrate your understanding of the issues relevant to supporting care leavers as well as a good working knowledge of legislation and effective practice in this area.
