Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Work Team Manager to fill a full-time role based in Bournemouth, within the Looked After Children Team.
The pay rate for this locum Team Manager job is £35.00 - £40.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties of the Social Work Team Manager:
- To be accountable for the management of all cases and referrals to the Looked After Children Service.
- Allocate cases/referrals. To monitor and review the work of the team including regular audits, in accordance with performance/quality standards/Borough procedures.
- To be responsible for the management of delegated budgets and to ensure that resources are used in the most cost efficient and effective way.
- Induct new staff in accordance with the Borough policies, procedures and standards.
- Identify staff development and training needs to ensure that the workforce is competent to undertake the tasks identified.
Requirements of the Social Work Team Manager:
- A recognised and relevant professional social work qualification (Degree / Diploma in Social Work)
- Registered on Social Work England
- Relevant experience as a social work team manager
