Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Team Manager to fill a full-time role in Haringey, within the Homelessness Team.
The salary for this Team Manager job is £50,826 - £56,100 annum and is on a permanent basis.
Duties:
- Developing innovative and effective practice with unaccompanied minors on their arrival and journey through care
- Manage the referral and assessment for newly arriving UASC's
- Provide case consultation
- Liaise effectively and efficiently with both internal and external partners
Requirements of the Team Manager:
- A recognised and relevant professional social work qualification (Degree / Diploma in Social Work)
- Registered on Social Work England
- Proven ability to lead on services for adolescents and care leavers who are UASC
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 2+ years experience of leading work with Unaccompanied Asylum seeking children and age assessment at team manager level
- Experience of change management, redesign and embedding new systems and enhancing practice
- Experience of working to very tight deadlines
