Our First Response service is our dedicated ‘Front Door’ to Children’s Services. It is a multi-agency team that plays an integral role in ensuring that children and families receive essential services. As a Social Work Team Manager, you will lead a team of social workers and first response advisors alongside partners from police, education, health, and domestic abuse advisory services. This team is pivotal in offering initial advice and managing requests for assistance, effectively supporting professionals and families alike.
What you will do:
- Lead and manage a diverse team of social workers and advisors, ensuring that service delivery is efficient and effective.
- Oversee the screening and processing of referrals and requests for support, ensuring high standards of practice.
