Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Work Senior Practitioner to work based in Basildon, within the Family Centre.

The salary for this permanent Social Work Senior Practitioner role is £40,637 - £49,183 per annum.

Main Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of specific targeted intervention work, to achieve positive and improved outcomes for children.
  • Provide specialist parenting, sibling, or risk assessments, many of which are the most complex cases within the Court or PLO arena, acting as an expert witness.
  • Support positive change within families with the aim of enabling children to remain safely within their home.
  • Use trauma-informed and relationship-based methods of working.
  • Deliver and lead on individual and group work programmes aimed to facilitate growth and change.
  • Offer consultation and support to colleagues both on the frontline teams within the family centre.

Requirements of the Social Work Senior Practitioner:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work.
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • At least two years of post-qualifying experience within frontline social work.
  • Demonstrate capability of practice in accordance with current professional standards (eg. Professional Capability Framework).
