Sanctuary Social Care has a locum vacancy for a Senior Practitioner to work full-time based in Oxfordshire in a Children's Assessment Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Senior Practitioner role is £40 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
About the role:
- To undertake single assessments
- To undertake interventions to improve the outcomes for children in need, children with child protection plans and children subject to care proceedings
Requirements of the Senior Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Good references essential
- Minimum 3 years experience required of statutory frontline work with children including Child Protection, Child in Need Care Proceedings and Assessment- experience of Family safeguarding model ideal
