Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Social Work Senior Practitioner to work full-time based in Hereford, within the Child Protection & Court Team.
The pay rate for this locum Senior Practitioner role is £32.33 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 1-month contract.
Duties:
- Take a lead role in modelling this ethos to the team, support social workers in developing their ongoing practice and be colleague who supports based on enhanced experience and practice of social work
- Hold a small and complex caseload which will reflect your experience and knowledge
- Hold a small but complex case load, support and supervise our small team of Family Support Workers, support qualified and NQSW’s with reflective group supervision and mentoring in addition to undertaking some basic administrative tasks such as compiling the Duty rota or supporting the Children Social Work Manager where necessary
Requirements of the Senior Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children’s services
