Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Work Senior Practitioner to work based in Hackney, within the Adults Team as part of the wider Discharge and Assessment Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Work Senior Practitioner role is £34.50 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 1-month contract.
Main Duties:
- Work across Hackney in our Assessment Bed Units using the discharge to assess (D2A) model.
- Significant oversight to manage through put from the Assessment Bed Units, and staff supervision including allocation and performance management.
- Re-emphasise a focus on people, their strengths and the networks and community around them.
- Role model these behaviours and who is competent and knowledgeable in all areas of Adult Social Care practice.
Requirements of the Social Work Senior Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Recent post-qualifying experience within frontline adult social work.
- Have experience of working in a hospital setting and a sound and evidenced understanding of legislation, including No Recourse to Public Funds, and Continuing Healthcare.
- Evidence continued professional development, to ensure your practice quality is constantly evolving.
- There will be an element of home working but some travel across the borough will be required, and post holder must have the ability and willingness to travel across Hackney.
