Sanctuary Personnel, a leading and award-winning recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Work Practitioner to work full-time based in Southport, within the Hospital Team.

 

The pay rate for this locum Social Work Practitioner role is £29.57 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.

 

Main Duties:

 

  • Undertake complex cases including assessment and management of risks.
  • Be recognised by peers as a source of reliable knowledge and expertise demonstrating critical knowledge of the range of theories and models for social work intervention.
  • Oversee the teaching and assessment of social work students carrying out practice learning placements as required.
  • Give evidence in court in relation to care proceedings.

 

Requirements of Social Work Practitioner:

 

  • Diploma or equivalent in social work.
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • At least two years post qualifying experience within frontline social work.
