Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Work Practice Consultant to work full-time based in Brent. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Social Work Practice Consultant role is £30 - £40 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3-month contract.

Main Duties:

  • As postholder of this role you must be able to lead, supervise and develop a group of Social Workers, ensuring the provision of a consistently high standard of service for children and families. These services will meet or exceed statutory duties and comply with local policies and procedures.
  • To ensure that key performance targets, as they apply to the specific team, are met.
  • To provide expert advice, guidance and supervision to enable team members to develop and maintain best practice standards.
  • To manage support workers with Court Processes and POL cases.

Requirements of the Social Work Practice Consultant:

  • HCPC registered
  • A highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice within Children's Services.
  • 2 years post qualifying experience
