What you will do:
- Conduct assessments of potential foster carers and support ongoing placements, ensuring they meet the standards set by fostering regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to foster families, creating a positive and nurturing environment for fostered children.
- Develop personalised care plans to address the unique needs of each child and carer, regularly reviewing and updating plans as required.
- Collaborate with local authorities, schools, and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to each child’s care.
- Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings and case conferences to effectively communicate the needs and progress of fostered children.
- Maintain up-to-date records and documentation, ensuring all legal and safeguarding requirements are met.
