The pay rates for these locum EHCP Caseworker jobs are £250 - £275 per day and are initial 4-month contracts.
Duties:
- Writing and amending Education, Health and Care Plans that will need to be high quality and legally compliant
- Produce reports on that data from caseload to update line manager
- Daily contacting parents, carers, and schools to discuss cases, some of which may be difficult conversations to have
Requirements of the EHCP Caseworkers:
- Hold a relevant qualification e.g., minimum of NVQ 3, 2 A levels or equivalent qualification or have equivalent relevant experience such as working within a similar role for another local authority or working directly with children or young people with SEND
- Have a comprehensive knowledge of legislation related to SEND
