Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Work Deputy Manager to work based in Bromley, within the Family Support Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Work Deputy Manager role is £37 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Main Duties:
Promote and support child development, providing positive child centred learning opportunities that meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage; Every Child Matters; and Every Parent Matters framework.
Develop, co-ordinate and deliver: counselling services, parenting services to individuals and groups
Support parents/carers of children 0-19 to increase knowledge of their child’s development and potential, to enable parents to feel confident in their role as parents/carers.
Strengthen relationships between parents, carers, children and professionals by using effective communication, collaboration and networking.
Support parents to develop skills and strategies to parent their child as identified by the Multi Agency Family Support Team Meetings (MAT) or lead agency.
Manage a team of family practitioners.
Provide a range of evidence-based interventions to an allocated caseload of children and families; within their families, whilst supporting children to achieve, contribute and develop to realise their potential.
Undertake assessments and to produce and review support and safety plans for individuals to ensure a high-quality standard of support that promotes independent living.
Requirements of the Social Work Deputy Manager:
Degree or equivalent in social work.
Current Social Work England registration.
Previous experience within frontline children’s social work.
