Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Work Care Manager to work based in Bromley, within the Older People Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Work Care Manager role is £26 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an approximately 3-month contract.
Main Duties:
- Work in new ways with Adults, Older People and Carers in providing personalised services that offers greater choice control over how their care and support needs.
- Support Younger Adults with physical disabilities and sensory impairment and Older People to live as independently as they are able and work with their carers to ensure risks are appropriately managed.
- Be a vital member of these teams with some supervisory responsibilities for unqualified staff.
- Work within a multidisciplinary framework and work with Partner agencies.
- Work as a duty worker on a rota bases, undertake Safeguarding work and Best Interest assessments and maybe required to provide supervision/support to less experienced staff.
Requirements of the Social Work Care Manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Recent post-qualifying experience within frontline social work.
- Be flexible, committed, and hard working with a willingness to work to quality standards.
- Have a good communication and negotiating skills.
- Some experience of supervision is required but not essential.
