Sanctuary Social Care has a permanent job vacancy for an Assistant Team Manager (social worker) to work within a Children with Disabilities Team based in Buckinghamshire.
The salary for this role is £39,232 - £43,547 per annum, depending on experience.
The purpose of this role is assist the Team Manager to manage and supervise a team of multi-disciplinary staff including qualified, experienced Social Workers to deliver statutory services to children and young people in need of support, protection and care.
The Assistant Team Manager will also be responsible for:
- Promoting the safety and wellbeing of children and young people
- Improving children and young people's life chances and outcomes in the care of their parents, or other carers
- Assisting with the leading, managing and supervising social work practice
- Assuring the quality of practice, managing performance and delivering value for moneyg with the leading, managing and supervising social work practice
Requirements of the Social Work ATM include:
- Degree or equivalent within social work and current Social Work England registration as a social worker
- Minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience of working within a statutory environment with children
- You will be passionate about maximising a child's life chances and be respectful with their parents/carers and important others
- Demonstrable post qualification continual professional learning & development
- Management and leadership training and qualification
