Sanctuary Social Care has locum vacancy for a Social Work Social Work Advanced Practitioner to work full-time based in Gloucester. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Social Work Advanced Practitioner role is £35 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3-month contract.
Gloucestershire County Council Adult Social Care is on an exciting innovation journey, working towards a three-conversation model; which re-emphasises a focus on people, their strengths and the networks and community around them. We are looking for one agency Social Work Advanced Practitioner who can inspire and role model these behaviours and who are competent and knowledgeable in all areas of Adult Social Care practice.
You will be offered regular supervision and support in your role.
Duties of the Social Work Advanced Practitioner:
- Line manage and supervise social workers who are working on a range of complex cases with people, their families and carers across Gloucester
- Undertaking professional supervision, co - working more complex casework and focusing on practice quality
- Conducting joint visits, shadowing social workers and monitoring assessments
- Working between the core hours of 09:00 - 17:00 and is primarily office based, to encourage a reflective working environment
Requirements of the Social Work Advanced Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' services
- Previous line management or supervisory experience, a sound
- Evidenced understanding of the legislative frameworks
- Must have evidenced continued professional development, to ensure their practice quality is constantly evolving
- Must be a car driver
