Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Work Advanced Practitioner to work based in Doncaster.
The pay rate for this locum Social Work Advanced Practitioner role is £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Main Duties:
Provide professional casework advice, expert social work knowledge, support, and guidance to colleagues, including newly qualified Social Workers, trainees, and other team members and/or volunteers on cases including the most complex cases within the parameters of agreed policies and practices.
Advise on caseloads providing holistic, strengths-based assessments which are person centre to help adults, carers and families make informed choices and decisions, enabling them to clarify and express their needs to achieve outcomes, manage risk and contribute to service planning.
Oversee the development, implementation, regularly monitoring and review of care and support plans whilst considering the legal framework, feasibility, and practical and resource implications of the proposed plan.
Encourage working across boundaries to develop innovative solutions and creative problem solving outside of traditional solutions to ensure best value in the longer term designed to minimise risk and improve quality of life for service users and their carers.
Requirements of the Social Work Advanced Practitioner:
Degree or equivalent in social work.
Current Social Work England registration.
Previous experience within frontline social work, including experience of working across agencies to deliver Social Care interventions and service developments.
Advanced knowledge and understanding of adult social care provision, relevant statutory frameworks, legislation and policy including the Health and Social Care Act 2014.
