Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Services Occupational Therapist to work full-time (part-time considered) within an Independant Living Service Team based across North, South and West Sussex. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £29 - £34 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Must be a car driver
- Proven experience of undertaking clinical functional assessments and of Occupational Therapy intervention planning, implementation and review.
- Demonstrable evidence of delivering a clinically effective, efficient professional Occupational Therapy service to a range of customers their carers and families.
- Proven experience of working as an Occupational Therapist with people with physical disabilities in the community providing appropriate interventions to enable independence at home.
- Demonstrate experience of interagency and multidisciplinary work to support collaborative working relationship.
