Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Services Occupational Therapist to work in Lancaster on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £23 - £25 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Duties:
- Completing face to face Assessments in service users' homes and residential settings in line with the Care Act 2014
- To also offer support to newly qualified staff regarding adaptations and moving and handling cases.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- DFG, Equipment, seating local authority and moving and handling skills essential
- Must be a car driver
- 2 years experience
