Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Services Occupational Therapist to work full-time based in Rochdale. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £21.74 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Main Duties:
- As postholder of this role you will work within the Community in Adult Care and have an interest in promoting integrated working and developing strong links with our partners in the Localities.
- Moving and handling (refresher training is available)
- Manage a busy caseload. assessment and using an incremental approach to the provision of equipment and adaptations.
- Assessment and provision of equipment and adaptations including those provided by Disabled facilities Grants to enable our residents to maintain independence and safety in their homes.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- 2 years' experience
- Previous community or local authority experience
