Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Services Occupational Therapist to work in Newham on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- Experience of working in adult social care, providing comprehensive functional assessments for adults and older people with a range of permanent physical disabilities
- Experience providing a range of complex equipment and recommendations for adaptations
- Experience of Moving and handling assessment and competent moving and handling skills to be able to demonstrate a range of equipment
- Experience of carer's assessments
- Experience of working in a duty setting and telephone assessments would be desirable
