Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Services Occupational Therapist to work in Bootle on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £22.43 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 2-month contract.
Job Summary:
- This post is for a qualified and experienced community based Occupational Therapist to provide holistic assessment to clients with a disability or their carers, using a therapeutic approach to restore daily living skills and maximise levels of function and independence within this client group.
- The provision of advice, adaptation or equipment, as appropriate to meet the needs of that client or carer.
- Adhere to the Performance Management framework within the Directorate.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- 2 years' experience
