Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Services Occupational Therapist to work full-time in Reablement/Adaptations Equipment Services in Buckinghamshire. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £25-£27 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 6-month contract.
About the role:
- To perform a specialist occupational therapy role in relation to disabled people who have complex health, social, and housing needs, who have been referred through an "open" referral system and meet the "Fairer Access to Care Services" criteria.
- To work with in the council's eligibility criteria, current legislation, the Council's policies and core values, and Departmental policies and procedures.
- To develop person centred packages of support, this may include rehabilitation/reablement, provision of equipment and structural adaptations
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapies
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- 2 years post qualifying experience working as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience of adaptations/reablement/equipment
- Must be a car driver
