Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Service Occupational Therapist to work full-time based in Newark. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £33.85 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and this role is a 3-month contract.
Job Summary:
- As postholder of this role you will work with the acute Hospital discharge team (Worksop) and the hospital therapy staff to ensure that referrals to New Bass START (Ollerton base) are appropriate.
- You will work as liaison/link between START/Bassetlaw Acute Hospital and our bridging homecare provider to review newly discharged cases in the bridging homecare service with the aim of beginning reablement straight away to promote independence and reduce size of packages of care where possible.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent experience either pre or post qualification
