Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Social Services Occupational Therapist to work based in Liskeard.

The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £26.55 per hour (assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:

  • Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Recent post-qualifying experience working as an Occupational Therapist, including adaptations/equipment experience.
  • Experience in working with adults with wide range of presenting needs.
  • Ability to respond promptly, carry out proportionate assessment and recording, working closely with community, colleagues and health partners as required.
  • Skills in Moving and Handling assessment, seating, minor and major adaptations, prescription of specialist equipment.
  • Independent mobility over a large geographical area for full time post.
  • Available to start as soon as possible.
