Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a job based in Solihull for a Social Services Occupational Therapist.
The pay rate for this locum Social Services Occupational Therapist job is £30.50 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 12-month contract.
Duties:
- Triaging and responding to urgent referrals or within our Community Team
- Undertaking long term assessments of complex need with residents in their own homes in Solihull
Requirements of the Social Services Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- Car driver
- Experience of this area of work is essential, as is knowledge of home adaptations, specialist equipment provision, moving and handling and wider occupational therapy practice
- Familiarity with disabilities and long term conditions, the legislative framework applicable to this work is essential and the ability to work successfully with partners and other agencies is key
- A willingness to work from home with the ability to travel to client's homes and to offices in Solihull and to use our Liquid Logic recording system as well as other electronic systems is required
