What you will do:
– Screen accepted Occupational Therapy incoming referrals by completing initial telephone assessments, ensuring client needs are promptly addressed.
– Order minor equipment following your assessments, such as toilet frames or commodes, by screening incoming inquiries.
– Perform initial risk assessments over the phone, maintaining safety standards without the need for home visits under normal circumstances.
– Provide essential support within the office environment three days a week, with a flexible two days for remote working.
– Occasionally assist with home visits if the team is understaffed, ensuring comprehensive client care when necessary.

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:

  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist
  • Recent NHS experience
  • Registered with the HCPC
