Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Service Occupational Therapist to work full-time within an Aids & Adaptations ward based in Lancaster. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapist and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £23 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 2-month contract.
Job Summary:
- Occupational Therapist required to complete face to face adaptation assessments in service users homes and residential settings.
- DFG Assessments
- Equipment Assessments.
- Offer support to newly qualified staff regarding adaptations and moving and handling cases.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapist
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous NHS experience
- Must be a car driver
