Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Services Occupational Therapist to work in Flintshire on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £24.92 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post-qualification.
- Must be a car driver.
- A good working knowledge of equipment and both minor and major adaptations alongside knowledge of techniques and condition management will help the applicant increase the independence and wellbeing of those with complex physical conditions and other associated conditions.
- A good understanding and experience of working with adults would be essential for the post holder.
- Excellent communication skills are required to work with multi-disciplinary team member's people and their families as well as other agencies that support our practice.
- Excellent recording and computer skills are also required.
- A good structure of supervision and support is available for the successful applicant, in line with the Royal College of Occupational Therapists Career Framework guidance.
- The ability to speak Welsh is Desirable Successful candidates must be registered with HCPC.
