Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Services Occupational Therapist to work in Vale of Glamorgan on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £19.66 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract. The hours will be 18.5 per week and can be flexible over Monday to Friday, between 8am-6pm. Currently the team are working from home
Duties:
- The role will involve assessments within service user's own homes to assess for equipment and adaptations to maintain safety in the home- this will be particularly working with care agencies to ensure that the right manual handling equipment is available for them, and to complete manual handling plan after the visit.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post-qualification
