Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Service Occupational Therapist to work in Doncaster.
The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Social Service Occupational Therapist job is £29.66 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent)
Duties:
- To assess people who are struggling to achieve or maintain their functional capacity in their own homes and carry out needs led, strengths based assessments and reviews of their functional needs and environmental difficulties whilst taking into account the needs of carers and other family members.
- To arrange for the provision of equipment and adaptations. To assess for and make written recommendations to the housing department to support service users' applications for Disabled Facilities Grants, housing adaptations and re-housing needs.
- To assess complex manual handling, providing advice, care plans and equipment where needed.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
