Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Care Occupational Therapist to work full-time in the Adaptations Team based in Norwich. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £28-£32 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Duties:
- To assess the occupational and functional potential, limitations and ability of disabled
people of all ages, including children. - To work collaboratively with the service user, their support network/family, and other
agencies to enable service users to achieve and maintain balance in their activities of daily
living. - To formulate and implement intervention plans aimed at reducing the impact of disability
and ill health. - To formulate and implement intervention plans including reablement plans, aimed at
reducing the impact of disability and ill health: plans may include specialist disability
equipment, housing adaptations and graded plans of activities to be carried out by carers
in reablement settings
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- Must be a car driver
