Are you looking for a practice to call your home? Our client’s RCVS accredited general practice and veterinary nurse training centre based in Elgin is seeking a Small Animal Vet to join their team.

They offer a salary of up to £60,000 per annum plus a bonus. For vets relocating to the area, they provide a relocation allowance and support for certificates and further studies.
Location Details:
Elgin, situated on the south coast of the Moray Firth in Scotland, is known as the ‘whisky region’ due to its many local distilleries. The area features stunning sandy beaches, the beautiful Elgin Cathedral, and is well-connected with regular trains and driving routes. Elgin is close to major cities, being 36 miles from Inverness and 57 miles from Aberdeen. The Cairngorms are an hour’s drive away, and the housing market offers a range of properties from £65k to £300k. The town also has a variety of primary and secondary schools.
Working Hours:
This full-time position involves working 40 hours per week over 4 days, with 1 night on call and 1 weekend per month. They can discuss part-time and flexible working arrangements to suit your needs.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified veterinary surgeon with a degree recognised by the RCVS
- Registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to providing high standards of patient care
- Ability to work well within a team and independently
- Enthusiasm for continuous professional development
