Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to work within a Learning Disabilities/Autism team working full-time based in Solihull. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Speech and Language Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Speech and Language Therapist job is £25.39 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Duties
- Based in the Community, you will provide assessment and intervention to adults in their own home and community settings using experience and proven skills in dysphagia and rehabilitation intervention to deliver patient centered; goal focused approach to care.
- The team works collaboratively with Speech and Language Therapy colleagues across therapy pathways to facilitate evidenced based practice. The Community Speech and Language Therapy team also provides outpatient clinics for voice, dysfluency and FEES assessment offering scope for the post holder to broaden clinical skill and expertise in a variety of clinical areas, as appropriate.
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapist
- HCPC registered as a Therapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
