Sanctuary Executive is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Service Manager to fill a full-time role within a Children's Services based in South East England, within the Early Help & Prevention Team.
The pay rate for this locum Service Manager job is £400 per day (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- To provide operational leadership and management of Early Help- Prevention and deputise for the Strategic Lead.
- To support the development of the prevention and early help provision with Children's Services and across the partnership
- To work closely with the Senior Management Team and the Strategic Lead to support the improvement agenda
- To play a full, proactive and innovative part in the management and development of the Early Help/ Brighter Futures agenda
Requirements:
- Management experience is essential.
- A minimum of 2 years management experience within a children's service setting in the statutory or voluntary sector or another relevant field.
- Track record of achievement in service improvement and customer care
- Evidence of continuous management development
- Experience of positive contribution to change management
- Experience of developing and maintaining effective networks, contacts and partnerships to improve service outcomes
- Experience of developing and implementing systems to manage and promote quality standards in services.
- Recognised social work qualification
- Evidence of post qualification study
