Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a role for a Senior Surveyor in Wigan.

This pay rate for this role is £28-£35 per hr (ltd) and has an initial 3-month contract.

Main duties:

  • Responsible for the professional management of a diverse, commercial and operational portfolio of properties and deliver the most effective and efficient use of the council’s property assets.
  • You will undertake asset valuations for accounting purposes in support of the council’s annual asset valuation programme
  • You will report to the principle surveyor (estates) and provide guidance and support to one senior surveyor
  • Assist the Principal Surveyor (Estates) to identify a schedule of opportunities to maximise revenue and make cost savings from the Council’s let estate.

Requirements of the Senior Surveyor:

  • A full Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors is essential
  • An enhanced DBS certificate dated within the last 12 months is desirable but not essential
