Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Senior Strategic Communications Officer in a to work full-time in Westminster. The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is£218.37 per day (Assignment rate) and is an initial3-month contract.
Requirements of the Senior Strategic Communications Officer:
- Experience of working on pro‐active communication strategies using a variety of tools, techniques and channels with minimal supervision
- Experience of handling sensitive enquires that require liaising with stakeholders and external agencies to minimise reputational risk
Duties:
- Support the delivery of integrated campaigns and communication to either influence opinion or change behaviour and deliver an effective mix of policy and communications to deliver the council’s objectives, which supports the overarching narrative and drives a coherent message aimed at achieving WCC’s strategic objectives Identifying the most effective interventions, channels and tools to engage audiences, influence perceptions, change behaviour or deliver policy Provide advice and guidance to colleagues clearly for all policy and communications outcomes and target audiences effectively
- Use insight to identify target audiences and partners, support decision making and help improve the overall communications approach Interpret qualitative and quantitative data to identify stakeholder and audience insight
- Develop strong relationships with senior officers and Members, I&C colleagues and key stakeholders
- Provide a high-quality business partnering arrangement across the Council and act as the strategic communications point of contact for internal clients
- Build influential networks to enable teams to deliver quality solutions and be responsible for embedding the latest innovation the industry has to offer
