Sanctuary Social Care has locum vacancy for Senior Social Workers/Advanced Practitioners to work full-time based in Manchester, within the Hospital Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adult's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for these locum Senior Social Worker/Advanced Practitioner roles is paying £26.88 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Senior Social Workers/Advanced Practitioners to support either:
- Team Managers support the team working on hospital discharge in the community; or
- Working within the hospital setting to support the team that remains in the hospital.
There will be 2 Senior Social Workers in each locality supporting the community team and 1 Senior Social Worker at each hospital.
There will be a 6.7% uplift on your pay for working weekends.
Requirements of the Senior Social Workers/Advanced Practitioners:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adult's services
- Hospital work experience is essential
- Senior Social Workers will be required to work on a rota 5 days over 7 days and within 8am - 8pm
